What you need:
(1)Double sided silk ribbon
(2)Wax document
(3)Dual-sided tape
(4)Iron
(5)Buttercream icingSeries
Steps:
��1��Choose a double-sided satin ribbon(red series) that complements the colors of the wedding party. Most floral outlets should bring this. Otherwise, you can check your local craft retailer. Start to see the Tips portion if you have preferred ribbon that is not twice-experience.
��2��Iron the ribbon to make sure that it will place flat about the cake. Ensure that the ribbon is completely clear of wrinkles.
��3��Wrap the base of the cake with all the ribbon, using the backed aspect facing the wedding cake. Do this several inches at one time, smoothing it down as you go.
��4��Use a compact dab of buttercream icing at the seam as fasten to hold the ribbon into position.
Tips & Warnings
First secure wax document to the rear of the ribbon by adhering double-sided tape to the ribbon if you have preferred a ribbon that is a one sided satin ribbon. Clip the wax tart paper so it doesn't demonstrate from the front. This support will keep the ribbon from looking oily.
